Reverse: The Liberty Bell – Let Freedom Ring

The Old Statehouse bell in Philadelphia, PA has become an iconic symbol of American freedom.

The bell was ordered in 1751 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of William Penn’s Charter of Privileges, the Pennsylvania land grant by King Charles the II. The 2080 lb. bell was thought to have been cast with too much copper which hastened the large iconic and distinguished crack in the bell.

Our design features the words “Let Freedom Ring,” a verse from the patriotic song America (My Country, ‘Tis of Thee). “Let Freedom Ring” connotates the open and just celebration of the expression of freedom across the land from sea to shining sea.
